The South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Group of Countries includes India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Maldives.

The Registration Fee includes expenses for

  • Registration and Conference Material
  • Lunch and Tea/ Coffee each day where announced in the Program Matrix
  • Conference Reception
  • Conference Banquet
  • Half day City Sightseeing Tour for International Participants
  • Cultural Program
  • Choice of any Three Programs from the announced list for Accompanying Persons
  • Conference Proceedings

Caveats

Participants would have to pay for Accommodation at the announced rates. Most rates are inclusive of Breakfast.

Airport Transfers may be extra.

Depending on availability of funds, we shall try to offer partial or full financial support to participants from developing countries, including from SAARC.

The Special Registration Fee as has been announced for Doctoral and Post Doctoral Fellows would be applicable for those who are working in the area of Physics Education Research. Post Doctoral Fellow would imply those on their first assignment.

Cancellation of Registration by 15 July 2005 would be with 100% refunding.

Cancellation of Registration by 22 July 2005 would be with 60% refunding.

Refund of Registration Fee after 22 July 2005 would not be possible. In extreme emergency, the decision of the International Advisory Committee shall be final.

Cancellation of accommodation in hotels/ private guest houses would be in accordance with the rules announced by the Conference Organizer. The Conference Secretariat shall not assume any responsibility in this regard.

Bookings/ Cancellations for University/ Academic Institution Guest House Accommodation would be through the Conference Secretariat.

Mode of Payment

Bank Draft made payable to “ ICPE 2005 Conference” in Delhi .

Cheques payable to “ICPE 2005 Conference” only from within India , subject to realization. Appropriate service charges to be added for outstation cheques.

Electronic Transfer to Conference Bank Account. Please remit funds through Swift to SBININ BB 544 for credit of “ ICPE 2005 Conference” Account Number 011 000 50363 at State Bank of India , University of Delhi , Delhi 110 007, India (Code 01067). Care must be taken to ensure that the Bank Service Charge is borne by the participant.

Credit Card is not the preferred mode of payment. In case this mode is chosen because of unavoidable reasons, the Official Conference Manager “International Travel House Ltd.” will be authorized to collect payment through duly filled registration form. All authorizations must bear signatures and be sent via fax or mail along with a clean photocopy of the front and back of the card.
